Oude Wellington Conference Venue is located in the heart of the wine growing region of Wellington in South Africa. During your stay on the farm you can enjoy your day at the pool deck or watch the farm animals.

At harvest time you can actually see the grapes turn into wine before your eyes. In winter, there is no better place than in front of the big Cape Dutch fireplace with a glass of red wine.

Oude Wellington Estate is a real working farm with animals, vineyards a winery using open fermentation and a wooden basket-press. A traditional Brandy Distillery is working most of the year.

The Vineyards:
The vineyards are on the north and south facing slopes at the cooler foot of the Hawequa Mountains in the heart of the wine region of South Africa. The soil is eroded granite/clay with more sandy soils at the bottom of the valleys. Most of the vineyards are 5 wire trellised and irrigated.
