The Protea Stellenbosch consists of 176 bedrooms (88 apartments). Each apartment has a common hallway with two doors leading into two rooms. The first room consists of a twin-bedded room with an en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom, a Deluxe Suite, consists of a King-size bed with a separate lounging area, kitchenette and full bathroom en-suite. All the top-level apartments have balconies, while carports situated outside each apartment provide shaded parking.
All rooms are equipped with DSTV remote control TV's, touch dial telephones, individually controlled air-conditioning and has breathtaking views of the vineyards and Stellenbosch mountains.
The latest edition to the hotel is a resident's bar with a sun deck which overlook the vineyards and golf course. The Aristate Restaurant offers a traditional buffet breakfast from 7am to 10:30am, lunch from midday onwards and à la carte dinners from 5pm to 10:30pm.
