Classic Rooms
These rooms are situated in the historic Cedarwood building and the adjoining courtyard annex and have all been wonderfully refurbished to reflect the contemporary colonial feel of the hotel.
They are individually air-conditioned and the valley facing rooms each have their own private decks. The north facing rooms open into private courtyards and have wonderful views of the vineyards or olive groves.
Vineyard Rooms
The brand new Vineyard Rooms (12 Classic and 8 Luxury Rooms) are housed in two separate buildings, which have been designed to capture the majestic views of the valley and the Helderberg Mountains.
Each of the 20 Vineyard Rooms have been fitted with modern luxuries expected at a four star boutique hotel. The luxury rooms have additional features such as a fireplace and plantation shutters dividing the spacious bathrooms. Some of the luxury rooms are interleading and can host a family of five.
Luxury Rooms
There are 4 luxury rooms which are situated in the Manor House. Each of these luxury rooms are spacious and lead to a lovely private courtyard with a jacuzzi and pool. Three of the four luxury rooms offer twin beds and one has a king-sized double bed.
These rooms are perfect for guests looking for convenient accommodation in the Cape Winelands that also offers privacy and comfort.
Junior Suites
These generously spacious suites offer guests a king-size double bed and a luxurious bathroom with a separate free standing Queen Anne bath and shower. Guests can enjoy majestic views of the spectacular valley and vineyard.
Family Suite
This room is situated in the historic Cedarwood building and has been wonderfully refurbished to reflect the contemporary colonial feel of the hotel.
The main room has a queen size extra length bed and the children's room has two three quarter extra length beds. They are individually air-conditioned. The room is north facing and opens into an intimate courtyard with water feature and olive grove.
Executive Suite
The Executive Suite is a spacious and private suite found in the Manor House and boasts a fairytale room ideal for romantics or honeymoon couples. This suite offers guests uninterrupted views of the valley, elegant furnishings, a king-sized four-poster bed, fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with free standing Queen Anne bath and double shower.

The Flavours Restaurant serves mouthwatering cuisine made with the freshest local ingredients, many of them home grown. The cellar features the very finest wines of Devon Valley and the Stellenbosch region. The restaurant's winelist won the prestigious Diamond Diners Club Award 2010 and the Global Wine Capitals’ Best of Wine Tourism Award for the accommodation category.
Light meals are also available in the lounge or on the terraces overlooking the valley, while summer picnics can be enjoyed in the gardens or around the pool. The vibrant nightlife will have guests visiting cosy pubs where they can sample fine ports, cognacs and over 80 different malt whiskies, the largest collection in Africa.
The newly enlarged and upgraded facilities are ideal for business conferences, seminars, training workshops or functions, catering for up to 100 people in cinema style, or up to 45 in U-shape seating. The Devon Valley Hotel can accommodate functions and banquets for up to 120 guests.
